Cushing Pituitary Spoon is a specialized instrument uniquely suited for use in neurosurgical procedures in which the pituitary gland is involved. These procedures include hypophysectomies which is the surgical removal of the hypophysis and can be used in treatment of conditions such as Cushing’s syndromes. The scoop shaped ending of this spoon allows it to be optimally used in removal of tumors. Additionally this spoon is silver placed and comes in five different sizes to suit a number of surgical scenarios.
